The official date of company establishment is 14 December 1945. It was when contemporary authorities transferred premises of the former factory of rubber at Miła street to the Factory of Stylish Furniture in Świebodzin. Initially factory employees rendered services to institutions and private people. Furniture repairs were done in the state property in Lubiniecko, woodwork was done at schools in the administrative district of Świebodzin.

Production began in 1946. Despite the existing name, instead of stylish furniture, barrels, boxes, woodwork for construction purposes and desks were made. Production of upholstering furniture began in 1948. At first it comprised mainly sofa beds. However, soon enough assortment included armchairs, mattresses, sofas and settees. On 6 March 1951, on the basis of a protocol the plant in Świebodzin became a part of Wielkopolski Plant of Wood Industry in Poznań. A year later, on 1 January 1952, the Minister of Light Industry created the State Company called Świebodzin Furniture Factory. Section 3 of the ordinance specified that: The subject of company activity is production of furniture.

In 1957, due to a necessity of enlarging production and assortment span, the furniture factory opened its other unit at Jeziorowa street.

The name of Lubuski Furniture Factory came into being in 1972. Ordinance of the Minister of Forestry and Wood Industry caused the merger of the following state companies: Słubice Furniture Factory, Skwierzyna Furniture Factory, Świebodzin Furniture Factory and Witnica Furniture Factory. The fusion took place on 1 October 1972. Section 2 of the ordinance informed that the merger of companies will equal the fact that Świebodzin Furniture Factory will take over property of the remaining three. In 1976 the company extended to the Plant of Local Industry in Dębno. However, two years later the structure ceased to exits. Świebodzin remained by itself with the name Lubuski Furniture Factory.

The turn of the year 89 and 90 brought transformation to the company. The change imposed the rules of market economy. Reasonable policy of the contemporary company authorities and considerable amount of material stock allowed Lubuski Furniture Factory to survive the difficult period of transformation.

On 5 December 1997, the state company was privatised and company limited by share emerged called Lubuski Furniture Factory S.A. The company founders were: the State Treasury and BIG Bank Gdański S.A. with the headquarters in Warszawa. The company share capital is 13,400,050 PLN.

The company, which continues sixty years tradition of Lubuski Furniture Factory, is represented by the Management Board of IV tenure with the members as follows:
